We needed to build something tough, dark, and aggressive looking that didn’t play well with others. The HOOLIGAN was born. We took a tired stock looking Sportster Iron & toughened it up by stripping it back to the bare frame, cleaning it up and giving it a fresh lick of paint. The swingarm was lightened up by punching some holes in it & adding a couple of swingarm braces. Next on our list was to give it a stance that not only looked tough, but could be ridden hard. So hence the Progressive rear shocks & VRod front end coupled up with a set of ISR hand controls. Now that’s the handling sorted, we wanted more power, so added a 1200 conversion to this rebuilt motor. We added a mild modified gas tank & chopped rear fender to give it a subtle change without ruining the already tough lines of this bike. When it came to the paint, only one colour was suitable for this bike, black! The brief was simple, keep piling on more black on all components so there weren’t any bits of niceness left on this bike.
