This little beauty was a commissioned build from Nixon Watches. The NIXON SCRAMBLER was designed by Spirit Of The Seventies and the build bought to our attention with a rendering drawing. We took one look at the drawing and agreed on the project in a heartbeat. A stock ex demo Triumph Scrambler was delivered to our workshop and we immediately started the strip down to get to the bare frame. The frame was de-cluttered, cleaned up and frame rails cut back. A wiring tray was fabbed up to house all electrics and battery and grafted in under the seat unit. We sent frame, engine casings and various other components off to be Cerakoted which is a durable ceramic coating. We needed some tyres with a monster tread pattern to give it a hench look, so none other than Continentals were chosen. The stock exhaust system was binned and replaced with a one off lobster back crossover system built in house. Leather samples were sent to us for the seat to be trimmed in the worn brown Napa leather, same as what’s used on some of the Nixon watch straps. The leather theme was carried onto the gas tank and used to fix the newest of the Nixon range of watches in place and show it off. The NIXON SCRAMBLER has finished the rounds of its promotional shows and now gets used as a daily rider.
